Val de' Varri caves

Val de’ Varri caves are a complex of caves fossils and active that develop at the base of the southern slope of Mount Sant’Angelo. Here you can admire stalagmites, stalactites, fauna and flora typical of these caves.

They are found in Pescorocchiano and you can visit by following a trail that goes up to the archaeological remains of the Bronze Age,  or, with experienced guides, you can book caving trips lasting about 4 hours following the water route along the caves .
